CONTENT: Testorapid (ampoules), 10 ampoules (100mg/ml)
Testorapid (ampoules) Alpha Pharma is a commonly manufactured oil-based injectable testosterone compound. The added propionate ester slows the rate at which the steroid is released from the injection site, but only for a few days. Testosterone propionate is therefore comparatively much faster than other testosterone esters such as cypionate or enanthate and requires a much more frequent dosage schedule. While cypionate and enanthate are injected weekly, propionate is usually administered (at least) every third day. Figure 1 shows a typical release pattern after injection. As you can see, levels peak and begin to subside quickly with this ester of testosterone. To make this drug even more uncomfortable to use, the propionate ester can be very irritating to the injection site. In fact, many sensitive individuals choose to stay away from this steroid entirely; their bodies respond with pronounced pain and low-grade fever that can last for a few days. Even the mild pain experienced by most users can be quite uncomfortable, especially when taking multiple pharmacokinetics of testosterone propionate injections per week. The “standard” esters like in yours enanthate and cypionate, which are much easier to use, are therefore much more popular with athletes.
Those who aren't bothered by frequent injections will find that propionate is quite a powerful steroid. It is of course a potent mass drug capable of producing quick gains in size and strength. At the same time, the build-up of estrogen and DHT (dihydrotestosterone) is pronounced, so that typical testosterone side effects can be expected. Some consider propionate to be the mildest testosterone ester and the preferred form of this hormone for the diet / cutting phases of exercise. Some will go so far as to say that propionate will harden the body while giving the user less water and fat retention than would normally be expected with a Testorapid (ampoule) Alpha Pharma. Realistic, however, is nonsense. The ester is removed before testosterone is active in the body, and likewise the ester cannot alter the activity of the parent steroid in any way, only slow its release. We can say that propionate may be the testosterone of choice among female bodybuilders (for those who insist on testosterone use) as blood levels are easier to control compared to other esters. Should symptoms of virilization develop, one wouldn't want to wait for the weeks for testosterone levels to drop after a shot of enanthate, for example.
During a typical cycle, one sees an action that corresponds to a Testorapid (ampoule) Alpha Pharma. Users who are sensitive to gynecomastia must therefore add an antiestrogen in addition. Those who are particularly concerned may find that a combination of Nolvadex® and Proviron® works particularly well to prevent / stop this occurrence. Also inevitable with a testosterone are androgenic side effects such as oily skin, acne, increased aggression and body / facial hair growth. Those who may be predisposed to male pattern baldness may also find that propionate will make this condition worse. To combat this, we also have the option of adding Propecia® / Proscar®, which reduces the build-up of DHT in many androgen target tissues. This will help minimize the side effects associated with it (especially hair loss), although it doesn't offer us any guarantees. And as with all testosterone. Products containing propionate will also suppress endogenous testosterone production. The use of a testosterone-stimulating drug such as HCG and / or Clomid® is therefore almost a prerequisite for avoiding a post-cycle crash.
The most common dosage schedule for this compound (men) is to inject 50 to 100 mg every 2d or 3d days. As with the most popular esters, the total weekly dosage would be in the range of 200-400mg. As with all testosterone compounds, this drug is best suited for developing training phases. Here it is usually combined with other strong agents such as Dianabol, Anadrol 50® or Deca-Durabolin®, combinations that turn out to be very terrible. Propionate is also sometimes used with non-aromatizing anabolic steroids / androgens during the cutting or dieting phases of exercise, a time when its “quick action and androgenic nature is also valued. Popular stacks include a moderate dosage of propionate with an oral anabolic steroid like Winstrol® (15-35 mg daily), Primobolan® (50-150 mg daily), or Oxandrolone (15-30 mg daily). Provided that the body fat percentage is sufficiently low, the view of the dense muscles can be significantly improved (without any excess build-up of estrogen from the testosterone). We can also add a non-aromatizing androgen like Trenbolone or Halotestin®, which should have an even stronger effect on subcutaneous body fat and muscle hardness. Of course, with the added androgen content, the side effects associated with it become much more pronounced.
Women who absolutely must use an injectable testosterone should only use this preparation. The dosage schedule should also be spread out more to a female bodybuilder, with injections coming every 5 to 7 days. The dosage would obviously also be lower, generally in the range of 25 mg to 50 mg per injection. Androgenic activity should be less pronounced with this schedule, allowing blood levels to decrease sufficiently before the drug is administered again. To further reduce the risks, the duration of this cycle should not exceed 8 weeks. Should a stronger anabolic effect be required, a small amount of Durabolin® (Deca-Durabolin®, if not available), Oxandrolon or Winstrol® could be added. Of course, the risk of noticing the virilization effects of these drugs can also increase with the addition of a slight anabolic.
On the black market propionate is not an abundant item. Although individual ampules are commonly cheap in the pharmacies of many countries, purchases here can be quite different. When looking to buy the total number of ampules needed for a complete cycle the costs for this drug can add up quickly. This is especially true when purchasing individual ampules, which usually carry a high price tag even if the content is only 50mg of steroid. Obtaining a multi-dose vial preparation such as Testosterona from Brovel (Mexico), Testopro (Loeffler) or Testogan by Laguinsa (S. American) is the best way to reduce the price of this compound, as the cost for each injection should be considerably reduced with a large container. The higher dosage in the 100mg product from Brovel and the 250mg item from Loeffler (see following) also bring the price down for this steroid considerably, and seem to be sparking new interest in this ester. Athletes however generally still find propionate to be a bit too much trouble though, and usually prefer the longer acting testosterones like cypionate or enanthate. Although demand for this steroid is low, it is of course still an acceptable option.
Recently, Mexican veterinary firm Loeffler released nothing less than the most shocking propionate product ever developed by any company. It's called Testopro UA, and it's a 10ml vial of propionate at an unheard-of strength of 250mg / ml. This dosage is more shocking than it initially sounds like all 250mg enanthate and is now cypionate products in circulation. Testosterone propionate is less oil soluble than testosterone enanthate or cypionate, which makes high dosages more difficult to achieve. Before Testopro, the highest concentration you could find of this steroid was 100 mg / ml. Reaching 250 milligrams is undoubtedly a result of not simply adding more steroid to one ml of oil, but also significantly increasing the alcohol content in the solution elevated. This makes for a much uncomfortable solution to inject. Although admittedly the highest dose of propionate you will ever find, users have reported that it is excruciatingly painful too. Most find that they need to dilute the solution with other lower-dose steroids if they are to continue using the product. That shouldn't come as a surprise, I'm guessing with a steroid that already has a reputation for being painful to inject.
