LI0PRIME is a powerful thyroid hormone. It is used for weight loss because it acts on the body to increase the basal metabolic rate, increase effect protein synthesis, and increase the body's sensitivity to things like adrenaline. LI0PRIME is not an anabolic / androgenic steroid, but a thyroid hormone. It contains synthetically produced liothyronine sodium, which is similar to the natural thyroid hormone tricodide thyronine (LI0PRIME). The thyroid gland of a healthy person usually produces two hormones, the better known L-thyroxine and the aforementioned L-triiodotyronine. Since LI0PRIME is the synthetic equivalent of the latter hormone, it causes the same processes in the body as if the thyroid were producing more of the hormone.
